Sydney Cutchon, MSPAS, MPH, PA-C
Sydney Cutchon, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with special interests in diabetes and endocrinology.
As a SoCal native, she attended UCLA where she received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology. Sydney obtained her patient care experience working in family medicine, pediatrics, and dermatology prior to PA school. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University California, where she also earned a Master of Public Health. Additionally, she took elective courses receiving a Certification in Interprofessional Diabetes Education. During her clinical training, Sydney completed an extended 3 month Diabetes rotation where she was able to utilize both her PA and Public Health education to help evaluate, treat, and manage patients with various types of diabetes ranging from Type 1, Type 2, LADA, secondary diabetes, and more.
Sydney believes that the trust patients give their health care provider is a privilege and every patient should be treated as one’s own family member. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and strives to be a strong patient advocate, providing high-quality, compassionate, patient-focused and individualized care to all of her patients. She also aims to encourage and empower her patients to be involved in the management of their health through shared-decision making and ensuring they understand their diagnoses and treatment plans.
Sydney is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
