Dr. Chong graduated from one of the top medical school in Thailand in 1997. She had wide range of clinical experience working as an internist in Thailand prior to her specialized trainings in the U.S.
She was formally trained in Internal Medicine at Bassett Medical Center, an affiliated with Columbia University in Upstate New York and Geriatric Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. She completed her Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism fellowship in 2013 from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Her experience post fellowship in endocrinology includes a combination of teaching and clinical practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and Carolina Diabetes & Kidney Center in South Carolina. Through her years of experience, her passion has been an exceptional care for endocrine patients. She was also recognized as one of the physicians with the highest patient satisfaction score at Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Chong has multicultural background and experiences in different patient population. In addition to excellent patient care for various endocrine conditions, she also focuses on patient education and patient-involved decision making.
